What is it about printers, eh? Why do they not last? Is it built-in obsolescence, or shoddy manyfacture?
We have a Kodak Office Hero 6.1 which is only a few months old and yet is already on the blink. Why does it not print with black if there is no colour ink? Why does it not print with one brand new black cartridge despite head cleaning etc, then only print in grey with another? It seems they have become cheaper and less reliable over time.
Also, I'm sick of not being able to find a simple printer you can plug into your computer, let alone one that takes only black ink (writers print text, in case manufacturers don't realise). Any why supply them with pathetic intermittent Wi-Fi?
The concept of the paperless office was always a lie - electronic storage doesn't last in the end. We will always need hard copy.
