Doctors, death and deceit, part 7: Told you so...

Well, it was just as I expected. After three weeks in hospital my mother in law was discharged in the purely orthopaedic sense, without anyone taking into account her stroke related disability and her loss of strength, confidence, weight etc caused by being stuck in a hospital bed for that length of time. None of the so-called 'caring profession' gave jack-shit about that, and now she can't cope at home like she did and needs more numerous and longer visits from carers which she cannot afford for much longer. We always promised she would not go in a care home, but that is where things are heading. She is being reassessed shortly and I know what the outcome will be.

Honestly, you put your trust in these people and so often it's misplaced at best.
