Hi again. We certainly find ways to spend money and remain poor. Apart from spouses or partners, the surest ways to be broke are to have kids, a computer (mine is slower than my phone), and cars.
And the latter is the subject of this blog. I've never had much luck with cars. The latest episode featured a Renault Kangoo: after taking my younger son and a friend of his to Alton Towers theme park, the car decided to turn into a monumental heap of junk on the way back. We limped into Keele services on the M6 with a knackered clutch and five hours later were towed home at great expense. I've spent all week securing some form of wheels, and I'm glad to say I pick up a shiny new car on Saturday. The ony drawback being the £200/month it's going to cost. And that's sorts of where I started...
